Deputy Commanding General, International Security Cooperation (ISC)

 

nasiadkaBrigadier General Józef NASIADKA was commissioned into the Polish Air Force in 1979. In 1984, General graduated from the Military University of Technology in Warszawa with a M.S. in Cybernetics. Afterwards, he started his military service as a Platoon Commander in the 4th Radio Technical Battalion.

In 1988, Brigadier General Nasiadka was appointed as a Company Commander in the 4th Radio Technical Battalion in Warszawa. Two years later in 1990, he took over the position of Deputy Commander, 4th Radio Technical Battalion, where he was responsible for all battalion technical matters.

From 1992 to 1996, Brigadier General Nasiadka commanded 3rd Radio Technical Battalion in Sandomierz. From 1996 to 1998, he was assigned as the Deputy Commander for the 1st Radio Technical Brigade in Warszawa. In the meantime, he earned the Ph.D. in the Military Science from the National University of Defense in Warszawa in 1997.

In 1998, Brigadier General Nasiadka was assigned to the Polish Air Force and Air Defense Headquarters. Following this assignment, he served first as Branch Chief and then as Department Chief on the position of the First Engineer Radio Technical Forces. In 2003, Brigadier General Nasiadka was appointed to the position of Deputy Chief, Radio Technical Forces of the Polish Air Force. After this challenging and demanding assignment, Brigadier General Nasiadka received a prestigious appointment to study at the National University of Defense in Warszawa, where he gained his Defense Policy and International Relations diploma. Upon graduation, he took over the command of the 3rd Radio Technical Brigade in Wrocław. Throughout his career, General Nasiadka has commanded at every level from the platoon to the brigade.

In 2007, he returned to Warszawa to perform his duty as a Chief of the Radio Technical Forces, Polish Air Force. Brigadier General Nasiadka was promoted to his current rank in 2007.

Since 2009, Brigadier General Nasiadka has served as Deputy Chief of the Military Intelligence Directorate – J2 in the General Staff of the Polish Armed Forces. Brigadier General Nasiadka’s interests include sport and literature.
